Astra Biotech offers more than 780 biotinylated allergens for use with the Specific IgE ELISA kit.

Characteristics of biotinylated allergens:

Application: The biotinylated allergens are designed for the combination with Specific IgE ELISA kit. By means of the Specific IgE ELISA kit combined with single allergens the respective specific immunoglobulin E contained in blood of patient can be bound and quantitatively evaluated. The concentration of specific IgE is part of the allergy diagnosis with a high concentration of the specific IgE indicating a sensitization.

Wide range of biotinylated allergens: Astra Biotech continuously expands the range of biotinylated allergens. The allergens are divided into 15 categories including food, mites, epithelia or drugs among others in order to simplify the search. This great variety providing individual allergy test tailored to every patient is the precondition for personalized medicine.
