REF 24-02
The TSH third generation ELISA kit is intended for quantitative determination of low concentrations of thyroid stimulating hormone in human serum.
TSH is a glycoprotein with a molecular mass of about 30 kDa consisting of two subunits– alpha and beta. TSH is secreted by frontal lobe of pituitary gland and stimulates thyroxin and triiodothyronine synthesis in thyroid gland. TSH assay is important in evaluation for thyroid status.
This kit is highly sensitive. Determination of TSH level by third generation kit is used for the differential diagnosis of euthyroidism and hyperthyroidism.
